2023 Porsche Cayenne And Cayenne Coupe: Latest Spy Shots Reveal Taycan-Inspired Refresh

A host of new 2023 Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe prototypes have been spied up close ahead of their market launches later this year.

The first prototype you’ll see in the gallery below is the ‘standard’ Cayenne model, rather than the coupe. While it does have a similar overall design to the current model, the mid-cycle facelift will help to freshen some things up and see the SUV through to the end of its third generation by which time it could morph into an EV.

Changes start at the front end where Porsche has altered the shape of the headlights. The front grille has also been updated, as has the design of the lower air intakes. The rear end of the 2023 Cayenne will also be clearly identifiable from the outgoing model thanks to slightly different taillights and a full-width LED light bar.

Our eagle-eyed spy photographers also managed to snap some pictures of the 2023 Porsche Cayenne Coupe testing alongside its more traditional sibling. The Coupe variant will sport the same updated lights and bumpers and continue to be offered in a host of different guises, including the flagship, track-focused Turbo GT that has a key focus on saving weight.

It is not yet clear what modifications Porsche will make to the Cayenne’s interior for 2023 but reports suggest a new infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, and a new gear shifter are all on the cards.

The same array of V6, V8, and hybrid engines of the current Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe are tipped to be retained. However, the Cayenne Turbo could have its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 modified so it produces the same 631 hp and 626 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque as the Turbo GT, significant gains of 89 hp and 60 lb-ft (81 Nm) over the current model.
