2023 Chevrolet Seeker, new global crossover, launches in China

In the near future, Chevrolet will introduce a new compact SUV called Seeker for the Chinese market. The model will please fans of the class with fresh muscular body shape, sporty appearance, and good technological stuffing.
Externally, the Seeker has features typical of the updated Chevrolet brand lineup: rectangular embossed grille, as seen in the photo, in RS configuration it is black, further in the center there is a recognizable manufacturer logo and separate headlights, which are separated from each other by a chrome plaque.

On the side, the car is more pronounced and has deep ledges on the doors, which give the model a sporty look. Wheel arches are closed with black plastic plates, which are also located along the perimeter of the body, as if hinting at belonging Seeker to the class SUV. In the RS set the image will complement the 18-inch wheels, and the rear will be decorated trunk spoiler and LED lights with black plates under them, simulating air intakes. The rear bumper is slightly raised, such geometry will add confidence when driving on light off-road.

As for dimensions, they are 4.53 meters (178,35 in.) in length, 1.82 meters (71,65 in.) in width, 1.56 meters(61,42 in.) in height and have a wheelbase of 2.7 meters(106,30 in.). Thus, the new model will be slightly different from its counterparts, larger than the Tracker and smaller than the Equinox.
Once inside, we will see a laconic interior, the manufacturer has installed two 10.25-inch digital screens, one of which is the dashboard for the driver. Just below the monitor, in the center is the classic climate control unit. It is worth noting that the entire information and multimedia system is based on Xiaoxue OS and supports wireless CarPlay.

Ergonomic seats with electric drive, ventilation and heating are responsible for the comfort of the driver and passenger. In addition, there is wireless charging for cell phones and the Tune Dynamic audio system on board.
The Chevrolet Seeker will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Ecotec gasoline engine. The engine is expected to produce 177 hp (132 kW/180 PS) paired to a CVT transmission. Will the Seeker have all-wheel drive? No word yet from Chevrolet.
There are rumors that in the near future, the Seeker will appear in other markets, particularly in North America and Korea.
