Rolls-Royce Unveils New Aerodynamic Spirit Of Ecstasy For The Spectre

Rolls-Royce has unveiled a tweaked Spirit of Ecstasy figurine that will be used by the all-electric Spectre.

The British car manufacturer has remodeled the Spirit of Ecstasy exactly 111 years after the figurine was first registered as intellectual property of Rolls-Royce in 1911. The updated badge has been designed to be lower and more dynamic and better mimics the original drawings of the figurine made by Charles Skyes in the early 20th century.

Compared to the existing Spirit of Ecstasy which stands 100.01 mm tall, this new one is 82.73 mm tall and the wings have been reshaped to make them slightly more aerodynamic and realistic. She also adopts a slightly different pose and rather than standing with her feet together and tilting at the waist, she now has one leg forward and her body tucked lower.
