These Bugatti Veyron Wheels Would Make A Great Set Of Barstools

A set of wheels from a Bugatti Veyron has come up for sale on eBay, which got us wondering what other vehicles and uses they could have besides returning to the road.

Made by OZ Racing in Italy, they measure 20 inches tall and 10 inches wide and are styled after the wheels found on the Bugatti Type 35 Grand Prix car of the 1920s. The center caps are also included and feature a faux-knockoff motif that mimics how the wheels of the racecar would have been secured in the past.

According to the listing, the wheels are from a new Bugatti Veyron, and were removed to install a complete Mansory kit. They appear to be in excellent condition, with the seller noting that there are only a few minor imperfections from storage.

The wheels have a 5×130 bolt pattern, which means they fit most products from VW Group, including many Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini, and even Bentley models. In our searching, we found that the wheels also share a bolt pattern with the Ferrari LaFerrari, as well as various vans made by Nissan, Renault, and Peugeot, and we’re not sure which vehicle would be funnier to see wearing them.

Maybe the best thing for this set of wheels would be to display them publicly in your house, in the same vein as an engine block coffee table. They would make a great set of barstools, or for the extremely well-to-do, they could be used to keep your garden hoses and extension cords tidy when not in use – just wrap them around the rim.

Of course, beyond all the stupid options we just gave, the wheels could also be used an extra set if you’ve already got a Veyron. Perhaps there’s somebody out there with a Super Sport with those horrible orange wheels, and they want to switch it up a little.

The set currently carries a Buy It Now price of $27,500, which is about the same price as a brand new 2022 Toyota GR86.

By the way, the tire size for these wheels is 265/35ZR20, just in case you needed a matching set.
