Jaguar Land Rover is now offering consumers three ways to enjoy and experience its models through the new ‘Own. Subscribe. Rent’ program.
Both the Jaguar and Land Rover websites have been updated to offer customers the choice to either own, subscribe to, or rent a JLR product. Should consumers want to purchase a vehicle, they can configure their new model, select the engine, specifications, and choose between various options. Jaguar Land Rover then offers different payment options, including financing.
The Jaguar and Land Rover websites have also been updated to include a document portal that securely holds customer files, such as proof of identity. These documents can then be shared with retailers to make the transaction as seamless as possible. After a new vehicle is purchased online, customers can select to have it delivered to their home or have a full, personal handover and overview of the car with an expert in a showroom.
Jaguar Land Rover’s ‘Pivotal’ program offers a flexible subscription service. For those looking to subscribe to a new Jaguar or Land Rover model, a single monthly payment is used to cover rental, insurance, tax, servicing, and repairs, meaning customers only have to think about paying for their fuel or electricity. Different membership tiers are available and members can put their subscription on hold from month to month. Those who subscribe to a vehicle through the Pivotal program can also change their vehicle every six months. Subscriptions start from £850 ($1,070) per month in the UK.
The third and final option is renting. The service is currently only available in London and Manchester and allows users to select and book a rental Jaguar Land Rover model online and have it delivered to their door.
