Formula 1 To Race Through The Streets Of Las Vegas In 2023

Formula 1 will race in Las Vegas during the 2023 season as the sport and owner Liberty Media add a third race in the U.S.

The 2023 race will take place on a Saturday night in November on a dedicated street circuit on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. The circuit will be 3.8 miles (6.12 km) long and consist of three main straights and 14 corners. The cars are expected to hit over 212 mph (342 km/h) on the longest of the straights and the race will consist of 50 laps.

The race joins the annual event at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas and the new street circuit in Miami. It comes on the back of the increased popularity for the F1 in the United States.
