Dahler’s Take On The BMW M240i Is Your M2 Antidote

As we are patiently waiting for BMW to launch the new generation M2, Dahler presented their own tuning package for the M240i xDrive called the “DCL dAHLer Competition Line” that includes visual, power, and chassis upgrades for the current flagship of the two-door coupe’s range.
Starting with the exterior, the Swiss tuner didn’t alter the design of the stock bodykit besides opting for a dark treatment and developing a front splitter that will be available soon. The eye-catching CDC1 alloy wheels have a diameter of 20 inches with an available lighter forged variant reducing the unsprung mass, and are shod in mixed Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (235/35ZR20 front and 275/30ZR20 rear). The new wheels are combined with adjustable lowered sports springs or optional coilovers for improved handling.
Besides the software upgrades, there is a Power Pedal Box offering 10 percent quicker acceleration and a new stainless steel exhaust system with ceramic-coated dual tailpipes that’s still compatible with Euro6d standards.
In terms of pricing, the Performance Tuning Module costs €1,790 ($1,967) for the US-spec and €1,980 ($2,175) for the EU-spec model, the cat-back exhaust is the most expensive item at €3,250 ($3,570), the exhaust flap module costs an additional €495-530 ($544-582), and the lowering kit sells for €360 ($395).
Despite the already impressive specs that will definitely improve the performance of the 2-Series, Dahler promised they will present more upgrades for the G42 generation of the 2-Series Coupe in the future.
