2023 Ford Maverick Tremor starts in the fall
Ford recently announced the new-look Maverick with the Tremor package. This news is good because the manufacturer will open orders for Maverick in this package very soon, namely in September. Ford previously stopped taking orders for Maverick with a hybrid at the end of last year, and closed orders for a gasoline-powered version in January this year.
Externally, the Maverick in the Tremor package has some visual differences from its counterparts in the XLT and Lariat packages. The photo shows the pickup in Avalanche Gray color. It is not known if other colors will be available for order. Light gray body with black plastic plates set around the circumference, visibly diluted by orange-painted towing eyelets in front, a thin cross-sectional stripe on the black front grille, the Tremor lettering on the body, and quite handy accent – painted in orange segment on black rims, where nipple for pumping tires. This solution is quite appropriate for pickup trucks, quite often taking a mud bath, so it will be easy enough and fast to find the necessary elements on a dirty vehicle.
The interior received minor changes, black leather seats trimmed with orange stitching, in addition on the backs of the front seats can be seen embroidered logo “Tremor”.
As for the technical differences from the XLT and Lariat, the Maverick in the Tremor package is equipped with a dual-clutch all-wheel drive with a locking differential, transmission cooler and reinforced suspension. Also worth noting is that the pickup’s ground clearance, in this package, is one inch higher, and the front fascia is modified and angled to improve the angle of entry and in addition the 17-inch wheels are fitted with all-terrain tires.
As for engine, we’ll be able to see a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline EcoBoost that develops 253 hp (186 kW) and produces 277 lb-ft (375 Nm)
The Tremor package will cost an additional $2,995, and if a customer wants to further diversify the appearance of the pickup by decorating the roof and side mirrors in dark gray, and on the hood and sides of the car to apply graphics in black, then the buyer will have to add to the bill $1495 for the Tremor Appearance package.
